Body adjustments, stretching, and manipulation carry many benefits. By increasing blood flow and nerve communication, pulmonary function improves while blood pressure and inflammation are reduced. Energy levels can increase and our ability to recover from activity or injury can improve.
Pain reduction is just one benefit of improved mobility, yet mobility restriction can lead to pain. Tight hamstrings, for example, may cause pelvic misalignment, straining the lower back and causing pain.
By maintaining mobility we provide our body with the ideal internal environment for a healthy, pain-free life.
