“The reason I’m alive today is because I was strong.”

Jana Webb is no stranger to adversity. The lifelong athlete, entrepreneur, businesswoman, TEDx Presenter, published fitness writer, TV host, ambassador, media sensationalist, teacher, and mother is also a survivor of two devasting car accidents.

The first led her to yoga where she morphed her yoga training from Japan in a way that complimented her competitive athletic nature. Wanting to bridge the gap between sport and yoga, and help athletes excel, she developed a number of sport-specific programs and in 2010, JOGA was born.

The true power of JOGA wasn’t unveiled until her second near-fatal accident in 2016, which left Jana with a broken back and a long-term brain injury. Surviving this traumatic accident led her to learn more about recovery, and truly understand and appreciate the mental and physical strength that it takes to overcome severe adversity.

In 2021, she decided to start another movement, Roots & Wings, one that would give people tools to help connect them back to their authentic selves, while offering strategies that would also provide people with hope and inspiration.

Jana is on a mission to share everything she’s learned - the wins and losses - to keep people accountable for their bodies and minds in order to prepare for the inevitable adversity that life throws every day.
